The song exceeded 1M+ views on YouTube and 400K+ on Nico Nico letting it enter Hall of Fame.
Song Meaning[]
Of course, there is no officially released/noted meaning of this song, but it can be interpritated that this is about how two children (Hoshi Kun and Tsuki Chan) were walking on a frozen lake, until the ice under Hoshi Kun breaks, causing him to fall into the lake. Tsuki Chan jumps in after Hoshi kun in an attempt to save him, and Hoshi Kun starts hallucinating, making him hallucinate himself as a Star, and Tsuki Chan as the moon. In the end, the two children end up drowning. Both of their bodies sink to the bottom of the lake, never to be found.
**The children in the music video are often referenced to as Hoshi Kun (星くん) and Tsuki Chan (月ちゃん) (literally meaning - Star Kun and Moon Chan). Indicating that the person singing is Hoshi Kun and that he is singing about Tsuki Chan.
