The song gained 1.7M+ views on YouTube and 170K+ views on Nico Nico, entering the Hall of Fame.
It also has a remaster version (A Happy Death -Again-) on Kikuo Miku 4 (きくおミク4).
Background[]
The song is rather vague, but has a reoccurring theme of death. A popular interpretation is that the song is told through a point of view of a person, in a relationship with a suicidal person. The person singing ends up killing the partner, and then themselves, probably out of guilt.
